Yusuf Sulaiman has over 19 years’ experience in financing, accounting, auditing, and risk management practiced across various industries: Financial services, Oil and gas, Power, Telecoms, Consulting, Real estates, and Public sectors. He has worked in the financial services sector with experiences gained across functional areas of banking as follows: internal audit and controls, treasury operations, financial controls, reporting and regulatory. Experience includes playing a key role in designing, formulating and implementing accounting policies, processes and procedures, for setting up effective finance functions of organizations both in public and private sectors. He is currently a Partner at the Lehman Professionals, an indigenous consulting firm affiliated to Segun Sulaiman & Co. (Chartered Accountants), with core competence in Tax, Information Technology, Training and Business advisory services. Prior to working at Lehman Professional, he worked as Team lead in the finance and Accounting solution set of Advisory line of Service, PricewaterhouseCoopers Nigeria (PwC).

At PwC, he was involved in providing Finance and Accounting functions for clients’ in various industries ranging from oil and gas, telecoms, financial services, power and utility, transport and logistics, aviation, and public sectors. Before joining PwC Nigeria, he worked in the financial services sectors for over 12 years with valuable experience garnered in financial controls, internal controls, audit and investigation, risk management, and service delivery. His experience in the financial services sector was at Keystone Bank, Access Bank and Spring Bank. He is bringing his accounting expertise to Fortress Microfinance Bank Limited as a Director.
